What changes when you cross a provincial line
Gaming is regulated province by province, so the answer to almost every question here starts with «it depends where you are».
Age
19 in British Columbia and Ontario. 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. The hotel will sell you a room at 18 anywhere; the floor is a separate matter.
Identification
Provincial licence, passport, or provincial photo card. Not health cards. Not photographs of documents.
Dress
Smart casual across all four properties. No beachwear, no team colours, closed shoes. None of them require a jacket.
Photography
Not permitted on the gaming floor at any of them, including phones. Public areas and restaurants are fine.
Self-exclusion
Each regulator runs a programme covering every venue in that province. Requested at guest services, effective immediately, and reversible only through a formal process — which is the point.
Payment
Cash and debit at the cage. Credit card cash advances are restricted or unavailable in several provinces, and no property here will extend credit for play.
Help is free and confidential. Ontario — ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600 · British Columbia — Problem Gambling Help Line 1-888-795-6111 · Alberta — Addiction Help Line 1-866-332-2322. These lines are staffed by the provincial health services, not by the venues, and calling one does not appear on any casino record.
